About the P-20 Collaborative Task Force

In January 2009, the West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission created the P-20 Collaborative Task Force. Directed by Dr. Peter Barr, President of Glenville State College, and staffed by Dr. Adam Green, Director of West Virginia GEAR UP and P-20 Initiatives, the Task Force is designed to encourage greater collaboration among the state's primary, secondary and postsecondary educational institutions. The group will focus on an array of educational issues, such as improving the preparation, retention, and professional development of educators as well as promoting a seamless education system that connects all levels of learning.
