The new Family Action Networks (FANs) initiative is designed to organize, train, and coordinate family engagement and outreach efforts in all West Virginia GEAR UP school communities. By joining this partnership between FANs and the WV GEAR UP staff, we plan to prepare more families with the information and resources they need to help their children make informed decisions about their future. Our goal is that these family engagement webinars and workshops will build upon your existing skills and knowledge to empower GEAR UP family members to become even more influential and organized changemakers toward achieving GEAR UP program goals in your children’s schools and throughout your communities on a broader scale.
